| Yes ,that is the easiest way to start ,and its a usable way.
It will work and have low running costs.
Besides the AM6 a Derbi ,Franco Morini ,Beta or KTM 6-speed engine can be used too.
Also factories like Conti ,Bidalot ,Metrakit or Tomos built nice complete 50cc racers which might be usable base-material
The latest version of Aprilia RS50 (analog to Derbi GPR50) is usable too.
It only needs to lose a lot of weight.
I think Malossi made a cupversion with it.
