My experience with these filters is not good at all. Maybe some major brand like K&N is good but all cheap models not good.

Couple times tried to tune carburetor with these cheap ones and failed to get engine working properly.

Yes of course,you got the reason.
now i removed that filter and i put a fine wire mesh , it works perfectly
