Monark

Salve !

This will be my contribution to show a bit more the history of Monark and the devellop of it.
There was two bikes build the way we will se here from a GP race in former Jougoslavia.
It is the factory rider Kurt-Ivan Carlsson and the faster rider of Lars"Kinna Persson.
The name "Kinna" is because that is Lars hometown southwest of Sweden.
We se here the two riders at full speed on a straight during that race.
The picture is from summer of 1972.
this is how the bikes look liked and nothing else ..;=)


Questo sarà il mio contributo per mostrare un po' di più la storia della Monark e la sua evoluzione.
C'erano due moto costruite che vedremo qui, vengono da una corsa nella ex Jugoskavia.
Uno è il pilota ufficiale Kurt-Ivan Carlsson e il veloce pilota Lars "kinna" Persson.
Il nome "Kinna" è a causa del paese di provenienza di Lars, nel sud-est della Svezia.
Qui vediamo i due piloti alla massima velocità in un rettilineo durante una gara.
L'immagine è dell'estate del 1972.
Questo è come le moto erano e nient'altro ..;=)





I say the bike have 13 HP at max and runs 125 Km.
Allmost everyone can overtake Guido..

Io dico che la moto ha 13 cavalli al massimo e fa 125 km/ora.
Quasi tutti possono raggiungere Guido..

This picture is the orginal factory livery and was made to race in Grand Prix race.
The picture is from 1972 and showes Lars Perssons bike.
At that time the the man behind this project was Göran Henningsson.
He is still well and working to keep the Monark name still alive.


Questa immagine è la livrea originale della moto che fu costruita per correre nelle gare Grand Prix.
L'immagine è del 1972 e mostra la moto di Lars Persson.
A quel tempo l'uomo che era dietro a questo progetto era Göran Henningsson.
Lui sta ancora bene e lavora per mantenere vivo il nome della Monark.
