A little bid un expected, (because I was watching for parts) came this beauty on a Dutch selling site. Its not all original but the whole picture looks great. (It will need a little bit attention) Most important it is with a Dutch licensplate, so we have a nice base to go from.
Here is how I bought it, dirty and without a chain
So first of all I gave it a good clean. and a chain
And of course I did my first round with it
Don't know anything about the setup, but it feels relative good. Planing not to change a lot on this one, I have just a couple of tiny ideas The main thing I will keep the hand shifting becouse this one is working correct.

The frame number is 12L So most parts are not model correct, but that's ok, I'm not restoring it. (just want to make something nice)
I'm thinking on the following changes (when the time is there) 1) Mounting the front fender correct (too much space in front, needs to be nice round the tire) 2) Remove the pedals, and make some foot rest at the rear suspension. 3) Find an original Super seat (sport first model) 4) Change the rear fender the same way I did with project 1 5) Mount some white fenders on it to give it the classic/race looks.
Will keep the gear shifting at the handles (its typical Motom) Not tuning it, keep it as simple as possible
Ottimo questo motore è stato preparato da uno che ne sapeva di Motom , il carburatore che diametro è perché all'epoca con pochi soldi in tasca si alesavano i carburatori normali e si trasformavano in 14/14 con ottimi risultati e pochi soldi 🎅
Come dicevo prima è un motore preparato da uno che se ne intende di Motom potrebbe avere anche le famose camme C che aumentano le prestazioni di un bel po' 🎅
I don't want to open her up a jet, to prevent it to become another project. I'm waiting on my Dutch licensplate ones it arrives, I can drive a bit further and see/feel what she does.
I will change the oil and check the valve clearance
I really liked to know how this Motom is running and where she stands regarding the HP outcome so prepared it for my DYNO Cleaned the carb (Nice modification, on the lower mounting point. Just loosen the nut a little bid and turn the whole carb)
Sadly, not super special it still is a 12mm with a 54 main jet
I adjust the valve clearance to a 0,1mm. (The system works great valves are still nicely in the oil nebular)
Changed the oil, and she was ready to go.

Giving a great 2,3HP at the rear wheel
Certainly not bad if you compare it with the rest of my tested setups (Motom L is yellow)
Very happy with the end result And there is still potential because the clutch was slipping
Ciao Luis ottimo risultato , il carburatore era fatto così dalla Dellorto per il Laverda 50 se non ricordo male infatti è molto comodo per poter cambiare il getto del massimo senza dover smontare il carburatore , il getto del massimo però è piccolo dovrebbe essere almeno 57 se non di più 🎅
