Vi sono mai stati gareggiato 2c di con pacco lamellare?

Have there ever been raced 2c's with reed valves ?

Which kind of bikes are you speaking of?
Where are you from, and which class do you like?

A 250 2c. The engine is transformed to 58 mm bore, dry clutch and has home-made toroidal heads.
We are from Belgium and race in BHR ( Great Britain ) and DHMM ( Germany ) and France.
We would like ( to try ) to install reeds, but have to proof that they were used to be eligible.
I would like to add some pictures of the bike, but I don't know how !! ( I am a computer illitarate ).

Ah ..., I understand. Nice bike. You can contatc Claudio Cipriani that is a Benelli 250 2t expert. His father won several championships in the '70ties with a Benelli. He made a Replica of his father bike a couple of years ago. However I don't know if he speaks English. You can try by MP (Private Message).
Good luck,
Maurizio

Thank you for the information and the quick reply.
[ BTW, your English is better than mine . ]
I will try to contact Mr. Cipriani and ask if the water-cooled bike on page 23 of this wonderfull forum ( a real treasure cave for us ! ) was made with reeds.

It seems to be a reeds version. If it is a true R.E.C. machine, Claudio Cipriani and his father Pieraldo can tell you something about the years it has been raced.

Have a look to this topic of Claudio's Benelli 250 R.E.C. Replica also:

Hi there. I am interested in reading your topic. I am building a bike for BHR and am interested in knowing what class you enter; 250 specials or BEARS. I am about to register with Gerry Daine and it would help if I knew how you have completed your registration. 58mm bore, may I ask what pistons you are using, or is that classified information :) :) :D
